March 1 marks the official beginning of another exciting season in Branson. Mickey Gilley has been here since the beginning and helped to put Branson on the map! The 2012 season features more of Mickey's timeless country classics as well as shows by "SIX". You can see the schedule of shows HERE. The theater is located at 3455 W 76 Country Blvd.
But there's more....
Missouri native Steve Crawford has been singing for the dinner crowds at Gilley's for the past year and now he will be there every night, except Thursdays, from 5:00 to 8:00. Steve has a voice one could get lost in! Smooth and heartffelt, his amazing vocal range suits a wide range of genres sure to appeal to everyone. Following Steve each night is Ron Custer hosting Karaoke from 9:00 till closing.
Also new at Gilley's Cafe is Sunday Gospel Brunch starting April 1 from 11:00 - 2:00, hosted by Steve Crawford. Steve's rich vocals applied to your favorite gospel hymns provide inspiration and energy sure to reach Heaven itself. Often local singers are guests, proving that the Ozarks is rich with musical talent! The brunch is a delicious selection of breakfast and dinner entrees, along with desserts and beverages --- and it is all you can eat for $10.99! I had the privilege of attending a couple of "test runs" and I can't wait till April 1 when the season starts up. Food to feed your body and music to feed your soul -- what a great way to start the week!
If you ask me, Gilley's Texas Cafe is going to be a real hot spot every day of the week! I can't provide samples of the menu to tempt your taste buds, but here is a sampling of Steve's recordings to whet your musical appetite: I hope to see you at Gilley's Texas Cafe and Cantina while you are in Branson! Thanks for visiting and enjoy your stay!
